This tragic incident had significantly impacted his perspective on gathering the resources of Galar, which eventually shaped his obsession on Eternatus and his very concept of gathering infinite power. Rose's name derives from the rose flower of the genus Rosa, in the Rosaceae family.Īs a child, Rose once experienced the death of his miner father, who died untimely in a mining accident. Unlike his game counterpart, who is well-meaning but unintentionally causes chaos, he is shown to be more overtly evil in the anime. He is best described a someone who can be quite ruthless in order to achieve a certain goal, and can be manipulative as well. Although he mostly acknowledges potential Trainers, he is also rather arrogant and impulsive, such as trying to re-enact the Darkest Day just to prevent the resources of Galar from depleting without putting the people's lives into calculation, and ignores the consequences of uncontrollably Dynamaxed Pokémon. Rose seems to be approachable and amiable, but it appears that he has a darker agenda. He also wears classy gray pants that match his suit, along with a gold and black belt, pointed red and black shoes, and a gold watch. His suit consists of a gray vest with numerous black buttons, a gray overcoat with a single gold button, a white shirt, and a red tie. Clothing-wise, Rose has one ear pierced and usually wears a sharp gray business suit, as befits his status and wealth. Despite his svelte appearance, he also has a round, portly belly (although it's barely visible when he wears his regular attire). Ĭhairman Rose is a tall and handsome tan-skinned man with black hair, green eyes, and neatly trimmed facial hair. If SwSh really is so easy that a child that gives up so easily can still sweep it then it inherently fails as a game since it truly provided no challenge to overcome.Appearance This section, or a part of it, has been transcluded from Chairman Rose any changes involving it should be made there instead. The joy in a video game comes from overcoming a challenge, even if it's not a very difficult one. Eventually so long as he doesn't give up his skill should increase enough to solo monsters but the games are made with multiplayer in mind so any failures there can be excused as him trying to do the work of 2-4 people which should hopefully prevent him from quiting. My thought process is that while the game is difficult the multiplayer can make up for his lack of skill early on and as long as he participates and doesn't just hide you can raise his confidence by saying the monster was beaten with his help.
It's difficult since it requires learning patterns and tells (kinda like dark souls but more forgiving) and it's multiplayer so you could help. It's not the best solution but if he manages it then you can say he succeeded and use that to raise his confidence and maybe push him to play harder games and not give up on those.Īlso may I suggest monster hunter. Maybe try and bribe him with something he likes, "beat this harder game and I'll get you this thing you want". Oh hey I think I remember you making a post about that a while ago.
